This page features "The Next Generation" and what they are up to!

Jacob Brashears began work on a musical synthesizer in his bedroom when he was 15 years old.

On July, 7, 2016, Shear Electronics was formed to capture all of Jacob's work and to investigate the viability of his new product.

Relic-6  was unveiled on January 19, 2017 at NAMM.

Education

Kira Brashears

Kira teaches 3rd grade at Fay ElementarySchool in San Diego, California.

Kira taught 3rd grade at Carson Elementary School in San Diedo, California.

Kira attended the University of California, San Diego and earned a Master's Degree in Education on 31 July 2020.

She graduated from University of California, Davis on June 15, 2019 majoring in Sociology.

She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School on June 3, 2015.

She was named Valedictorian with straight As all through High School.

She earned 8 Varsity Letters and was named 1st Team All Conference in Basketball.

She won the "best film in high school catagory" at the 5th Annual CreaTiVe Awards on January 10, 2015.



Jacob Brashears

Jacob is the Founder & Chief Technical Officer at Shear Electronics.

Jacob graduated from USC  on 19 May 2021 with a BS Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering.

He graduated from Valley Christian High School in June 2016.

He scored a "perfect 36" on the ACT College Entrance Examination earning a 4-year schlorship at USC.

His Jazz Band won all of their competitions and was named the best high school group in the nation.

His Marching Band won 1st Place in the Grand National Championships in November 2015.



Olivia Brashears

Liv works at Pinnacle Prevention in Chandler, Arizona as a Farmers Market Nutrition Program Coordinator.

Liv attended the University of Virginia  majoring in Biology and graduated in three years on 16 May 2020.

She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School on June 7, 2017.

She was named Valedictorian with straight As all through High School.

She earned 10 Varsity Letters and was named 1st Team All Conference in Basketball.

She was very active in "Key Club" serving as President and representing Lincoln in the Bay Area Organization.



Samuel Brashears

Samuel co-founded DryMerge and began work on 10 August 2023.

Samuel began work at Hive AI in San Francisco on 13 March 2023.

Samuel graduated from the University of Wisconsin on 18 December 2022 with a BS Degree in Computer Science.

He graduated from Valley Christian High School in June 2020.

His Marching Band won 1st Place in the Grand National Championships in November 2015.

His Performing Indoor Ensemble won the PIE World Championships in April 2017.

Samuel and his partner were ranked as high as 5th in the Nation in Parliamentary Debate  and finished 9th

He won "Best Speaker" at the Cal Parli Invitational in 2019



Lyndsey Brashears

Lyndsey is a Senior in High School at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California.

She enjoyed JV Baskettball, Jazz Band and Cheerleading and as a sophmore added Varsity swimming.

Lyndsey has swum competitively year round for 9 years and has near JV Olympic times in 4 strokes.
